Module 12 of 12 in Emergency Essentials. Four live sessions on Thursdays at 9 pm IST, 1½ hours each, recorded. Session 4 is rounds with the faculty panel.

What Will You Learn?

  • Tell the common causes apart and recognise sepsis
  • Run a treatment and nursing plan for a parvovirus patient
  • Adjust treatment in a septic patient over the first 24 hours
  • Present a gastrointestinal case and explain the treatment and nursing plan

Course Content

Sessions 1–3
Approach, stabilise and treat, and a virtual case.

  • Session 1: Parvovirus, haemorrhagic diarrhoea and the septic patient
  • Session 2: Fluids, potassium, feeding and isolation nursing
  • Session 3: Virtual case: the septic parvo puppy

Quiz and assignment
Complete both before session 4 on Thursday 21 October 2027.

Session 4: Rounds
Rounds with the faculty panel: your cases and questions.
