Terms and conditions
Last updated 5 October 2026.
These terms apply to veccsi.org, the Emergency Essentials course, and anything else we offer through the site. By enrolling or using the site, you agree to them. If something here doesn’t work for you, please email us before you enrol.
In short
Everything we teach is education for veterinary professionals. It is not medical or veterinary advice. You are the clinician: use your own reasoning and judgement for every patient, and check what you learn against current references and the rules where you practise.
Educational use only
Everything we teach, publish or share is for education. It is not medical or veterinary advice, and it is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan for any animal. Our sessions, rounds, protocol cards, guides, recordings and website text are general information for veterinary professionals. They don’t replace a clinical examination, and they don’t create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship between us and anyone.
Your own judgement always applies
Every patient is different, and so is every clinic, with its own drugs, equipment, staff and legal requirements. You are responsible for your clinical decisions. Use your own training, reasoning and judgement, check doses and protocols against current references and your local rules, and adapt what you learn to the animal in front of you. Following something from our course does not make us responsible for a decision you make or an outcome in your practice.
Medicine moves on. We try to keep our material accurate and current, but we can’t promise that it is complete or free of errors, or that it will still be right in a year. If you spot a mistake, please tell us at team@veccsi.org.
Who can enrol
Our courses are for veterinarians. When you enrol, you confirm that you are a qualified veterinarian and that the details you give us are true. We may ask for proof of your registration, and we can cancel an enrolment (with a refund) if you aren’t eligible.
Enrolment and payment
Fees are in Indian rupees and shown on the Emergency Essentials page and at checkout. A module is yours once your payment goes through. The all-12-modules offer and any founding-cohort price are available only for the period stated when you buy. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we don’t see or store your card details.
Sessions and recordings
Live sessions run on Thursdays at 9 pm IST and last about 1½ hours. Each module has 50 seats. Sessions are recorded, and you can watch a recording if you miss a live session. We may change a date or time, swap a faculty member, or change the order of topics when we need to. If we cancel a session and can’t reschedule it, we will give you a recording or a replacement session. If we cancel a whole module, we will refund it.
Certificate
You receive a certificate of completion only if you complete all 12 modules. Individual modules don’t come with a certificate. The certificate shows you took part in a course. It is not a licence, a registration or a specialist qualification, and it doesn’t entitle you to describe yourself as a specialist.
Refunds
Our refund policy sets out how and when you can ask for your money back. In short: single modules can be refunded within 48 hours of the second session, and the all-12 fee within 48 hours of Module 1’s second session.
Your account and how you use the material
Your login is for you alone. Please don’t share it, and don’t let anyone else use your seat. All course material, including slides, recordings, protocol cards and written guides, belongs to VECCSI and its faculty. You can use it for your own learning and to improve care in your own clinic. You may not copy it, record it, repost it, sell it or share it outside your team without our written permission. We can end access to anyone who breaks this rule.
Cases, patients and confidentiality
Case-based rounds work because people share real cases. If you present or describe a case, remove anything that could identify the client or their address, and make sure you have the right to share the case. Be respectful of other participants and of the faculty. We can remove anyone whose behaviour disrupts the session or harms others.
Workshops
Our hands-on workshops are run with a partner institution and booked separately from the online course. They may have their own terms, such as fees, eligibility, safety rules and refund conditions, which we will give you when you book. Hands-on work with animals and equipment carries risk, and you must follow the instructions of the instructors and the host institution.
Our responsibility
We take care to teach well, but we offer the course and the website as they are. We don’t guarantee particular results, such as better outcomes in your clinic, an exam pass or a career change. To the extent the law allows, VECCSI, its faculty and its team are not liable for any loss, injury or damage that results from using our material, including clinical outcomes, and our total liability to you for anything connected to the course is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Other services
The site links to and relies on services we don’t control, such as payment processors and video platforms. We aren’t responsible for how they work. Their own terms apply when you use them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you have already enrolled, the terms that applied when you bought stay in force for that purchase unless you agree to the new ones.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please get in touch with us first, because most problems are easy to sort out by email.
