Prof. Dr. M. Chandrasekar

Founder and President of the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society of India.

He has over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and clinical care. As Head of the Emergency and Critical Care Unit at Madras Veterinary College, he pioneered the first animal dialysis service in India and helped establish similar services at several veterinary universities.

He has equipped critical care units with advanced medical technology, improving treatment quality. Prof. Chandrasekar is widely published and recognized internationally for his research.

In 2024, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by SAPAC and FSPAI for his contributions to animal education and research.
